He pursued cases against friends, teachers, neighbors, relatives, his fiancée, police officers, judges, famous companies, and even George W. Bush. He filed a total of 2,600 cases in various courts and was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. He sued the owners of Guinness Book of World Records for publishing personal information without permission. In various cases, he won millions in settlements and damages. He was invited to a TV talk show where he emotionally asked why, despite his fame, he leads a lonely life without anyone loving him. The TV host burst into laughter and eventually ended the show, leading Riches to sue the TV channel and win $50,000.
